River
The Coppenamene River begins in the Wilhelmina Mountains. Its origins are Rechter-Koppename (originates on the northeastern slope of the Wilhelmina ridge, Tafelberg and the western part of Emmaket ), and Linker-Koppename with a tributary of the Midden-Koppename , which begins in the western and central parts of the northern part of the Wilhelmina mountains and southeast parts of the Buckhuis mountains [1] [2] .
The three branches of Coppenamene unite over the Tonkens Falls, and then flow past Mount Hebiveri [1] . Below the Sid-Krut waterfalls, it connects with Adam-Pada, which drains most of the eastern slope of the Buckhuis ridge. Below the Langa rapids, the river bends to the east, and over the Raleigh-Wallen waterfall it connects with Tanimama, which begins on the northern foothills of Emmaketen [1] .
The Raleigh Wallen Waterfall, as well as the nearby Voltz Mountain and the Van Stokum Ridge, are a tourist attraction that can be reached by small planes.
After the confluence of the Kwama River, Coppename flows further north and passes through the villages of Caymanston, Vitagron and Heidoti [1] . On the coastal plain, Wyambo flows into Coppenama, which forms a bifurcation between Coppenama and Nikkeri [1] .
Finally, tributaries, Tibiti and Kusevejne join Coppenama. The rivers Coppename and Saramakka unite and flow into the Atlantic [1] .
