“Supermodel (You Better Work)” (from the English - “Supermodel (Work Better)”) is the song of the American artist RuPaul , which was included in his album Supermodel of the World and became a single from it. Although she was not the first single of the artist, nevertheless it is considered his debut single, since he was released on a major label.

The song became a great club hit, thanks to which it was able to get to the 2nd line of the US chart Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs ; the song also entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart (peak - 45th place), making RuPola the first drag artist in history to hit this chart.
The music video for the song was shot by Randy Barbato in Detroit and released in 1993. The video clip for the song was taken into active rotation on MTV , which was a surprise for both RuPaul and the label, since at that time they mainly broadcast videos in the style of grunge , gangsta rap and rock .
In 2006, the song was re-released by RuPaul in the new version, giving it the sound of the 80s. The new version reached 21 lines in the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs.
