The village of Izmalkovsky district of Lipetsk region . The center of Petrovsky rural settlement (previously, its center was the village of Petrovskoye ). In Soviet times, it was part of the Afanasyevsky Village Council.
The village stands on the right bank of the Yasenok River (hence the name). Next to Yasenk, a bridge was erected through it.
The ancient Russian village, mentioned since the XVI century. Founded by the Russian nobleman Donza. The population is not more than 10 people. The original occupation is brewing and honey extracting.
