Vladimir Nikolaevich Azar (real surname Azarenko-Zarovsky ) (1920–1984) - American publisher, editor of Russian origin. Born in a family of immigrants in Belgrade .

During World War II - a junior officer of the Russian Liberation Army (ROA) . He was awarded the Iron Cross of the 2nd class , at the end of the war he ended up in the American occupation zone of Germany.
After the war he moved to the USA .
He founded the Russian-language publishing house Globus Publishing House and Printers in San Francisco and the famous Globus bookstore [1] . He contributed to the publication of a large number of works devoted to the anti-Stalinist movement during the war.
