Vanotek (nee Ion Kirinciuc ) is a Moldovan-born Romanian music producer and disc jockey [1] . He wrote music for local artists until he released his debut single, “My Heart is Gone,” in 2015. The song was successful in Romania and also earned him a nomination for the best Romanian performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2016 . In November 2017, Global Records released his debut studio album, No Sleep . Two singles, “Tell Me Who” and “Back to Me”, hit the charts in Romania and Russia, as well as other countries.

Career
Ion Kirinchuk was born in the city of Ungheni , in Moldova [2] . He moved to Romania to study at the Octav Băncilă School of Art in Iasi , and then moved to Bucharest, where he continued his musical career. He was 17 years old at the time, and Vanotek began releasing materials for such famous performers as Dan Balan , Anthony and Tom Boxer [1] [3] . In 2015, he released his debut single “My Heart is Gone” with vocals from . The song became commercially successful in Romania [2] and earned him a nomination for the best Romanian performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2016 [4] . In the same year, Vanotek tried to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm , Sweden, with “I'm Coming Home”, with Code and Georgian. As a result, he finished second in the Romanian qualifying show Selecția Națională [2] [5] . In November 2017, Vanotek released his debut album No Sleep , distributed by Global Records [6] . Besides this label, it is also associated with Ultra Music [2] [7] . The album has several singles, including “Tell Me Who” and “Back to Me” with , which have achieved success in countries such as Romania and Russia [7] [8] .
