According to the results of the previous season , Brommapoykarna , Dalkurd and Trelleborg left the league. They were replaced by Helsingborg and Falkenberg , who took 1st and 2nd places in Superettan 2018 , respectively, as well as AFC Eskilstuna , who took 3rd place in Superettan and defeated Brommapoykarn in butt games.
