Biography
He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley , a realtor by profession (resides in San Diego ) [1] . He played for the California Golden Bears sports club in 1992-1997, and in 1996 won the Woodley Prize - the highest award for a college rugby player [2] . He later played for the Old Mission Beach club from San Diego [3] , in Europe he played for the English club Bat, the French teams Brive and Clermont-Ferrand [4] and the Scottish Border Rivers.
As part of the US team, Dalzell played 42 matches from 1996 to 2003 [5] . He made his debut on September 21, 1996 in a match against Uruguay at the Pacific Ridge Championship. June 20, 1998 he made his first attempt in a match against Hong Kong . He played twice at the World Cups in 1999 and 2003: in 1999 he played 9 games, taking 4 attempts and gaining 89 points - of which the 1999 World Cup, where he was captain, accounted for 3 games, one attempt, 3 implementations and 6 penalties (total 29 points) [5] . Also played in 2003 at the World Cup (did not score points).
