Biography
Maya Bekbaeva was born on February 12, 1979 in the city of Semipalatinsk, East Kazakhstan Region . She graduated with honors from high school, was an example and pride of the school, participating in numerous city and republican olympiads in the Russian language and literature. Maya decided on her profession as a child, when at the age of 12 she began working as a young correspondent in the local newspaper “Pulse of Time”. [2]
In 2000 , first as a journalist, and then as the leading news service of the Shahar TV channel.
In 2002 she graduated from the faculty of international journalism of KazNU with honors.
In 2005, Maya became a journalist and editor-in-chief of the Almaty TV channel “ Taң ”.
In 2009, she led the Business News program on the Kazakhstan TV channel until 2011 .
In 2010, she was the author and host of the programs “Status Capital”, “Personal Territory”, and an evening news block.
In 2012, she worked on Channel 7 of the leading news and programs: “In other words”, talk shows “There is a way out” and “My story”
In 2016, she led the program “Secrets. Fate Names "on the Khabar TV channel [3]
Since 2019, she has been appointed Director General of Kazakh TV
In addition to the work of the TV presenter, Maya has a desire to star in a movie, the girl was even once offered a role, but due to lack of time, she was unable to take part. Maya writes poetry and music, plans to record her own album in the near future.
