Career
The attacker spent his entire career at the St. George Football Club.
Ethiopian team
In 1959, the striker held the first match for the Ethiopian national team against Egypt at the African Nations Cup . In 1962, the attacker scored the ball against the gates of Tunisia and Egypt and helped the Ethiopian team win the 1962 African Nations Cup. Footballer participated in tournaments in 1963 and 1968. but Ethiopia has not achieved success there.
In 1980-1982 and 1987 he coached the national team of Ethiopia. Winner of the 1987 CESAFA Cup (the first ever Ethiopian title in this tournament).
