Podgorny is a village in the Uvelsky district of the Chelyabinsk region of Russia . It is part of the Kamensky rural settlement .

Geography

The village is located in the east of the central part of the Chelyabinsk region, in the forest-steppe zone , mainly on the right bank of the Uvelka river, at a distance of about 24 kilometers (in a straight line) to the north-west from the village of Uvelsky , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 226 meters above sea level ^[2] .
