In 2006-2008 headed the Youth Center at the Kiev city organization of the All-Ukrainian Memorial Society named after Vasily Stus. He participated in the collection and preparation of materials for the book “Kievans - Witnesses of the Holodomor,” published by Roman Krutsik. Together with the dissident Vasily Ovsienko, they organized and conducted more than 60 lectures on Vasily Stus and the dissident movement in schools in Kiev.
In 2008-2010, he was co-founder and head of the Patriot Youth Public Organization. As part of the activities of the youth organization, the project “By the Way of Ukrainian Patriots” was launched, the purpose of which was to hold events dedicated to outstanding Ukrainian figures of the second half of the 20th century. According to the results of the project, the book “At the Origins of Independence” was published on the 20th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine about 20 prominent Ukrainians. The book includes: Vladimir Ivasyuk, Vasily Makukh, Vyacheslav Chornovil, Alla Gorskaya, Pyotr Grigorenko, Vasily Stus, Vasily Shumuk, Alexey Girnyk, Ivan Mikolaichuk and others. The book was worked on by: Ivan Drach, Les Tanyuk, Petr Osadchuk, Oleg Chornoguz, Maria Mikolaychuk, Levko Lukyanenko, Athena Pashko, only about 50 people. A. Pushkarenko, as the project manager, presented the book in 20 cities of Ukraine, as well as at the central office of Radio Liberty in Prague [8] . In 2009-2010 - Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian People’s Rada, which was created after the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the “People’s Movement of Ukraine” in September 2009 by representatives of the intelligentsia and students. On the basis of the UPR, then the Committee for the Defense of Ukraine was created - the first organization that opposed the Yanukovych regime in the spring of 2010. The UNR included: Dmitry Pavlychko - chairman, Igor Yukhnovsky, Boris Oleinik, Pavel Movchan, Yuri Shukhevych, Ivan Zayets, Mikhail Ratushny. In 2010-2013. - Chairman of the Youth Movement of Kiev. He was actively involved in the problems of Kiev and Kiev: protecting the historical center of the city (architectural monuments: Sikorsky estate, Murashko estate, House with snakes, Baron House), water quality issues in Kiev, the struggle to detail and reform the budget of the Kiev metro, personal criticism of the mayor of Kiev, Alexander Popov for his unfulfilled promises, the protection of NPP Goloseevsky and many others. Together with the Lviv City Council, he held “Days of Lviv” at universities (KNU named after T. Shevchenko, KPI), after which he received an offer from the mayor of Lviv, Andrei Sadovy, to head the representative office of the public organization “Self-Help” in Kiev. From April 2013 to April 2014 he coordinated and organized the work of Self-Help in Kiev. During the activity, a number of social projects were implemented in the public interest, namely: “Sports Days” in Podolsky, Pechersky, Svyatoshinsky districts with the participation of Olympic champions Stella Zakharova, Irina Merleni, Lyudmila Bobrus-Poradnik; free legal aid was organized, which was received by several thousand Kievites; The project “Light in the house” was launched - volunteers help lonely elderly people.
In the spring of 2014, as chairman, he became a co-founder of Kiev’s Save Golosievo’s public initiative, in the framework of which in the summer of 2014 the participants took the initiative to assign the name of General Sergei Kulchitsky to one of the streets in the Goloseevsky district of Kiev. This was actually the beginning of the struggle against building on Colonel Potekhin Street. During 2011-2014, together with the writer Pyotr Osadchuk, they carried out the “Give a Ukrainian book” campaign, in which more than 2,000 thousand books by Ukrainian writers were donated to libraries in the city of Kiev and the Kiev region.
On April 10, 2015, on the fifth anniversary of the disaster near Smolensk , he published and presented the collection of speeches by Lech Kaczynski “He envisioned, he fought, he knew - President Kaczynski”. [10]
In the fall of 2014, he initiated a second company, Donetsk National - Name of Vasily Stus. Outstanding personalities who knew Vasily Stus or explored his work signed an open letter of appeal to the rector of Donetsk National University Roman Grinyuk, faculty and students. The renaming was supported by: Dmitry Stus, Ivan Drach, Les Tanyuk, Nikolai Zhulinsky, Pavel Movchan and others.
