Knipolegus striaticeps ( Tyranpus [1] ) is a species of birds from the family of tyrannas . The word cinereous in the English species name ( Cinereous tyrant ) describes the gray-ash-brown color of a bird. They inhabit the Gran Chaco ecoregion, where their natural habitat is subtropical and tropical dry shrubs. Birds prefer heights up to 1900 m and belong to migratory ones.
