Monument Description

The sculptures of girls in military uniform, marching alongside each other, are made of gray and black granite, as well as the pedestal of the monument. The hands of each of the girls are stretched out and moved back to the beat of the march, which creates the illusion of walking. Behind the sculptures of the girls is a composition in the form of a monumental obelisk. The obelisk is crowned with the sculptural composition "Mir". This composition consists of a voluminous globe and children who let birds into the sky. Two golden stars of the Hero of the Soviet Union and embossed names of girls adorn the pedestal. The monument to the girls is a common one, which leads to the idea of their acquaintance, but during life they were not familiar.
