Biography
By nationality is Greek. In 1910 he graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Imperial Kharkov University , served as a military doctor . He began a military career with the rank of ensign of the Russian army.
- An active participant in the Russian Civil War as part of the Red Army.
In 1918-1921 he studied at the Red Army Military Academy , at the same time commander of the Kamyshlovsky rifle regiment (1918), head of the intelligence department of the Western Front headquarters (1919), temporary executor (Vrid) chief of staff of the 3rd Army (1920), head of the operations department of headquarters 16 Army, Chief of Staff of the 10th Infantry Division, Commander of the 10th Infantry Division, Commander of a separate Infantry Brigade, Assistant Commander of the Northern Group of Forces (1921).
- In 1921–1923, he was chief of staff of the CHON RSFSR.
