Kurds ( Belorussian. Kurds ) is a village in the Novosyolkovsky village council of the Postavsky district of the Vitebsk region of Belarus .
Geography
The village is located 25 km from the town of Pastavy and 15.5 km from the center of the village council.
History
At the beginning of the twentieth century - in the Mankovichi volost of the Vileika county of Vilna province .
In 1905 - a dungeon, 14 inhabitants and 80 acres of land.
As a result of the Soviet-Polish war of 1919-1921. the village became part of Middle Lithuania .
Since 1922 - as part of the Mankovichi commune of the Dunilovici povet of the Vilnius Voivodeship of Poland ( II Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth ).
In 1937 - 13 residents and 1 house.
In September 1939, the village was annexed to the BSSR by the forces of the Belorussian Front of the Red Army .
From January 15, 1940 - in the Gruzdovskiy Village Council of the Postavy district a. Vileika region of the BSSR.
In 1946 - a farm, 30 inhabitants.
On September 1, 1954 - 4 households.
Since May 20, 1960 - in the Savichsky village council.
In 1963 - 6 yards, 21 residents.
Since May 17, 1985 - in the Lukashovsky village council.
Since August 24, 1992 - in the Novoselkovsky village council.
In 2001 - 7 yards, 13 residents, on the collective farm named after Suvorov.
