Vitaliy Dmitrievich Rogozh (born October 26 (November 24), 1947, p. Murakhovka , Bereznegovatsky district , Nikolaev region , Ukrainian SSR ) - Ukrainian poet, prose writer, playwright. The author of the novels “Locks: a trilogy novel”, part 1 “Peter Sagaidachny”, part 2 “Bogdan Khmelnitsky”, part 3 “Ivan Mazepa”. The novel “Locks: a trilogy novel”, part 1 “Petro Sagaidachny” was awarded the 2015 Prize of the President of Ukraine “Ukrainian Book of the Year”

Biography

Vitaliy Rogozh was born on October 26, 1947 in the village of Murakhovka , Bereznegovatsky district , Nikolaev region . But for family reasons, the birth certificate is dated November 24th.

He began to write poetry at the school, after which he came to Nikolaev, worked at the plant named after the 61st Communard. He graduated from the Odessa Civil Engineering Institute.
