Sumqayit Technological Park (STP) ( azerb. Sumqayıt Texnologiyalar Parkı ) is a technopark created in 2009 in the village of Gadji Zeynalabdin , north of the city of Sumgayit . The first technopark in the South Caucasus and in Azerbaijan . The technopark area is 250 hectares. [one]

The opening ceremony of the STP was held on December 22, 2009. At the production and construction sites of 12 STP factories, more than 2,000 people are employed, with a planned number of employees of 10,000 people.

STP products include electrical equipment, cables, machine tools, polymer products, steel production, sandwich panels , ventilation systems, PVC windows, technical safes, solar panels, hot dip galvanizing and powder coatings .
