Biography
Club career
From 1952 to 1957 he was a player in the Saar 05 club, with whom he played in the south-western Oberliga and played 63 matches for the team, in which he scored 18 goals.
Career in the national team
The only match for the Saar national team was held on June 5, 1954 against the Uruguay national team , in which he scored the only goal of his team in the 23rd minute of the meeting. The game ended with a score of 1: 7 in favor of the Uruguay national team and became the largest defeat in the history of the Saar national team. In the future Niederkirchner in the national team was not called.
