Peak flowmetry (“peak flow” from the English language translates as “limit flow”) is a test for the maximum air flow rate (PSV) during expiration, which allows you to assess the state of the respiratory system in lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis or bronchial asthma , and also used to analyze the effectiveness of the drugs taken. Peak flowmetry [1] is carried out using a special device - a peak flow meter.
