Ladenko, Iosaf Semenovich

Having lost sight in his childhood as a result of an accident, Ladenko nevertheless graduated from a school with a gold medal ( 1953 ), and then - with distinction - the Logic Department of the Philosophical Faculty of Moscow State University (MGU) ( 1958 ).

While studying at the university, he met A. A. Zinoviev , B. A. Grushin , M. K. Mamardashvili, and G. P. Schedrovitsky, and became a member of the Moscow Logical Circle (MLK).

In 1958–61 taught philosophy at the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute , in 1961–64 he studied at the graduate school of Moscow State University (PhD thesis “Logical problems of substantiating geometry”, supervisor S. A. Yanovskaya ), continuing substantive scientific communication with Schedrovitsky, who founded the Moscow Methodological Circle by that time ( MMK).

After graduating from graduate school he worked in universities and research organizations in the east of the country: in Penza, Omsk (1965–68) and Novosibirsk (1968–96), where he came to the ideas of his own version of the “theory of intelligent systems”, which he called “intelligence”.
