The tightening of legislation in relation to hunters, breeders of service and hunting dog breeds, as well as to simple owners of animals prompted them to unite in order to assert their rights. The organizer and ideological inspirer of these social movements was Maxim Parfiriev.

“In defense of proper hunting and blood dog breeding”

On January 4, 2018, he joined the central coordinating council of the All-Russian campaign “In Defense of Proper Hunting and Conservation of Dogs” to implement the decisions of the conference initiated by the Federation of Hunting Dogs (RFOS) and the Association Rosokhotrybolovsoyuz (RORS) on the revision of amendments to the federal law “On Hunting” and on the preservation of hunting resources, as well as on amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation ”within the framework of the conciliation commission. The action took place in the form of open conferences (Moscow, Stavropol), rallies (Barnaul, Voronezh, Izhevsk, Kazan, Kursk, Orenburg, Perm, St. Petersburg, Yakutsk), mass pickets (Tula) and a virtual flash mob in social networks ^{[15] [16 ] ] [17]}

He initiated the annual all-Russian action with the title: “Tell the children about the contribution of hunters to the great victory” ^[18] . It started on February 23 and lasted until May 31. As part of the rally on May 6, 2019, the Hunters and Their Contribution to the Great Victory Lecture ^[19] was held at the Museum of the Hunting of the Rosokhotrybolovsoyuz in Moscow ^[19] , at which military historian Ulanov, Andrei Andreevich and chief editor of the Russian Hunting Magazine Krechmar, Mikhail Arsenyevich ^{[ 20]} . Hunting Achievements

Practicing hunter and dog handler . The basis of his author’s methodology for preparing for hunting representatives of two Akita breeds ( American Akita and Akita Inu ) is based on domestic methods for preparing hunting huskies described in books ( A. P. Mazover, “Hunting Dogs” and I. I. Vakhrushev “Hunting with Like ").

He raised and prepared according to the author’s method for hunting a dog of the West Siberian Laika breed, a bitch named Luna, registered in the All-Russian Stud Book of Hunting Dog Breeding (VPKOS8965 / 09).

09/21/2009 at the Moscow regional open inter-regional personal-team competitions of triathlon huskies ( badger , wild boar , bear ) was nominated for the title of "Best young female of competitions", having received 229 points. ^[22]

He took a bear on a den with his own dogs that were originally not a hunting breed (American Akita) and a dog of the West Siberian Laika breed that he had grown and prepared for hunting.

He began production of dry food for active dogs of medium and large breeds (“AKMAKE”) and tested it on dogs of the RCA “Hunting Dog Club“ AKITA MATAGI KEN ”. This product is also intended to popularize hunting, service and sports dog breeding , including through sponsorship of dog training exhibitions and tests. ^[27]

On September 13, 2017, on the program “Are animals not alive?” On the Public Television of Russia, he participated in a polemic with representatives of animal protection along with Zapashny Edgar . He is one of the activists of the group that filed a lawsuit in the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation in 2019 regarding the inconsistency of the Law “On Responsible Handling of Animals” with the Constitution of the Russian Federation regarding the realization of citizens' rights to a safe environment, guaranteed by the basic law. The fact that the owners of animals are “terrified” of this law and collect money to file a lawsuit with the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, Maxim Parfiriev gave an interview to the informational and analytical portal “Moscow Pets” ^[30] . After going to court, Parfiriev received threats, and unknown persons broke the windows of his car ^[31] .

He opposed the introduction of a list of "dangerous breeds", which was planned to include many of the official, protective and user-friendly dog ​​breeds common in Russia.

In an interview with the TASS news agency, Maxim Parfiryev said that claims by animal advocates that fangs and claws were pulled out by animals at the petting stations was a lie. Animals are groomed, receive good nutrition and care. ^[32]
