Ivan Markovich Kapshtyk ( Ukrainian: Ivan Markovich Kapshtik ; born September 22, 1939 , Poltava region ) - Ukrainian statesman, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine I convocation (1990-1992), representative of the President of Ukraine in the Kiev region (1992-1995).

Biography
Born September 22, 1939 in the Poltava region in a peasant family.
Since 1956 he worked as an instructor at the Grebenkovsky district committee of the Komsomol of Ukraine, Poltava region. Since 1958 he studied at the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy with a degree in Accountant-Economist.
Since 1963, he worked as an accountant at the Glyboksky collective farm in the Borispolsky district of the Kiev region . Since 1971, he was the director of the Kiev poultry farm, the director of the Yagotinsky poultry farm, and the director of the Kalityansky collective farm. In 1977, he was dismissed in connection with the initiation of a criminal case, then he worked as the head of the department, deputy director of the Kirov collective farm. Since 1988 he was the director of the Kiev poultry farm.
In 1978 he was expelled from the CPSU, then he achieved restoration, in 1990 he left the CPSU.
In 1990, during the first alternative parliamentary elections in the Ukrainian SSR, he was nominated as a candidate for people's deputies by the labor collective of the Kiev poultry farm. On March 18, 1990, in the second round, he was elected People's Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the XII convocation (hereinafter referred to as the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of I convocation ) from the Brovary constituency No. 210 of the Kiev region, won 50.51% of the vote among 7 candidates. In parliament, he was a member of the Zlagoda-Center deputy group, and was a member of the Chernobyl disaster commission.
On March 20, 1992 he was appointed representative of the President of Ukraine (governor) in the Kiev region [1] , in connection with his appointment to a new post, resigned on June 18, 1992. On March 6, 1995, the representative of the President of Ukraine in the Kiev region was dismissed [2] . Later he was president of Kiev Poultry Factory OJSC.
