A star field is a set of stars and interstellar gas visible in a field of view of arbitrary size, usually in the context of a certain region of interest in the celestial sphere [1] [2] . For example: the stellar field surrounding the stars of Betelgeuse and Rigel can be defined as covering some or all of the constellation of Orion .
