Megaleledonidae is a family of cephalopods from the suborder Incirrina of the octopus order. Described as a subfamily Megaleledoninae in 1961 by a Japanese zoologist from the University of Hiroshima, Iwao Taki ( Iwao Taki , Jap. 巌 19 , 1901-1984) [2] . It was previously considered a subfamily of the family Octopus and isolated in 2014 [3] .
