The Barabinsk-Kuibyshev agglomeration is an agglomeration in the northwestern part of the Novosibirsk region , created in May 2018. It is located 300 kilometers from the regional center and includes the Barabinsky , Kuibyshevsky , Northern and Zdvinsky areas. The second agglomeration formed in the region after Novosibirsk (established in 2015) [1] .
History
The agreement on the organization of the Barabinsk-Kuibyshev agglomeration was signed at the end of May 2018 at the V All-Russian conference “Development of urban agglomerations of Russia: innovations and infrastructure” by the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov , as well as the heads of the Barabinsky, Kuibyshev, Northern and Zdvinsky districts [1] .
