Creativity
Abasyanik played a big role in the development of modern Turkish prose, especially the genre of the story, giving it a new life with its sharp but humanistic depiction of laborers, children, the unemployed, the poor . The writer highlighted the complex inner world of the "little man", having achieved excellence in his portrayal. His works are lyrical and have a somewhat impressionistic coloring [4] . The place of their action is Istanbul or the nearest islands. The sea has always been the most important theme of his work.
