“ Lords of Summer ” (from the English - “Lord of the Summer”) is the song of the American heavy metal band Metallica . It was released in 2014 as a digital single [1] and as a limited edition on Black Friday in the form of LP with a studio and concert version of the song with a circulation of 4000 copies [2] . In 2016, a re-recorded version of the song was included in the deluxe edition of Hardwired ... to Self-Destruct , but was shortened by more than a minute, unlike the original version [3] . The official remix of the song by The Glitch Mob was released on May 13, 2015 on the Youtube video service [4] .

A new re-recorded version of the song was released 2 years later for the deluxe edition of Hardwired ... to Self-Destruct . She became a minute shorter than the original version and better in quality compared to the original single. On November 17, 2016, the group released a video for “Lords of Summer” on Youtube , along with 12 songs from the original album on November 16 and 17, 2016 [5] .
