Content
History
In the “List of Populated Places of the Russian Empire”, published in 1879, the settlement is mentioned as the village of Ignashevskaya ( Bryukhovo ) of the Kargopol district (3rd camp), with wells located 17.75 versts from the county town of Kargopol . There were 15 households in the village and 103 people lived (52 men and 51 women) [2] .
According to the data of 1905, there were 25 households and 116 people (53 men and 63 women). Administratively, the village was part of the Maloshalsky society of Lodyginsky volost. There were 21 horses, 29 cows and 60 heads of other livestock [3] .
Geography
The village is located in the southwestern part of the Arkhangelsk region, in the southern zone of the middle taiga [4] , north of the highway 11P-002 , at a distance of about 16 kilometers (in a straight line) east-northeast (ENE) from the city of Kargopol, administrative district center.
