Mihail Dmitriyevich Syrota ( Ukrainian Syrota, Mykhailo Dmitrovich ; July 17, 1956 - August 25, 2008) - Ukrainian politician , deputy of the Verkhovna Rada , leader of the Labor Party of Ukraine , one of the authors of the text of the current Ukrainian Constitution . Labor Activity

Born in Cherkasy in the family of educators.

1976 - 1979 - Senior technician of the research sector of the Cherkassy branch of the Kiev Institute of Civil Engineering (KISR).

1979 - 1980 - Engineer of Cherkasy branch of KISI.

1982 - 1985 - KISI graduate student.

1986 - 1994 - Assistant of the Department of General Technical Disciplines, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mechanics, Dean of the Faculty for the Preparation of Foreign Citizens, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Cherkassy Engineering and Technology Institute.

1994 - 1998 and 1998 - 2002 - MP of Ukraine II-III convocations. In the Verkhovna Rada of the II convocation he headed the deputy groups “Center” and “Constitutional Center”, the faction of the Labor Party of Ukraine. He was the head of the parliamentary commission to finalize the draft Constitution of Ukraine.

At the time of his election in 1998 to the parliament of the third convocation, he was a member of the People’s Democratic Party of Ukraine . In 1999, he organized with a group of like-minded people and headed the Labor Party of Ukraine. In 2004 re-elected as head of TPU.

Since November 2007 , he has been a people's deputy of Ukraine of the VI convocation, first deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy. Member of the Bloc of Lytvyn. The leader of the bloc is Volodymyr Lytvyn, former head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

Mikhail Dmitrievich believed that the problem of Ukrainian society in social psychology. When there is no unifying idea, it is impossible to group and go in one direction. Death

He died as a result of an accident on August 25, 2008 on the Kiev-Odessa highway, about 80 km from the capital. According to the traffic police , there was a head-on collision between a Toyota Camry car, in which a people's deputy and his spouse were traveling, with a Daewoo Lanos car driven by a resident of one of the villages (b. 1984 ). Both drivers died at the scene.
