General Information
The electric bus was developed on the basis of the body and some units of the mass trolleybus AKSM-321 , which reduced the cost and simplified the assembly of the new model. In addition to supercapacitors, another pantograph, the electric bus differs from the trolleybus by an improved cabin heating system [1] . The total curb weight of the electric bus is 12.3 tons; the maximum weight is 18 tons. The electric bus is designed to carry 83 passengers with 26 seats and one seat for a wheelchair user. Power reserve - 30 km, charging time - 5-8 minutes [2] [3] [1] . The service life of the supercapacitors used for the electric bus is 90 thousand charge-discharge cycles [4] .
The run-in of the electric bus began in January 2019 [2] .
Operation
E321 electric buses have been operated in Minsk since 2019. The city ordered 32 cars of this model for trolleybus parks [2] .
