January 16, 1769 was named Belevsky Infantry; in 1796 it was renamed from infantry to musketeering and on October 31, 1798 named after its chief musketeer Major General Mansurov 1st ; March 29, 1801 was still called Belevsky musketeers.
Since 1802, it has been assigned to 3 battalions: the Grenadier and 2 Musketeers, each of 4 companies. On May 16, 1803, one company was expelled to form the Vologda Musketeer Regiment , and a new one was formed in its place. From 1804 to 1819, the Belevsky regiment served in the Caucasus .
In 1815, he became part of a separate Georgian corps and was part of the 19th Infantry Division . In 1819, Emperor Alexander I , in a decree given to General Yermolov , not finding it possible to increase the composition of the corps with new regiments, ordered 10 regiments to be sent for a one-time staffing of the Georgian corps. As the regiments remaining in Georgia and on the line were staffed, General Yermolov was ordered to send personnel of 11 regiments, including the Belevsky Regiment, back. On November 4, by order of General Ermolov, the Belevsky regiment was merged with Mingrelsky, while the main shot of the regiment under the name of the Belevsky regiment was returned to European Russia.
On May 11, 1825, the emperor ordered the renaming to be considered invalid, the Belevsky regiment to consider his seniority from 1763, and the Mingrelsky regiment from 1806.
In 1830, the 1st and 2nd battalions of the Belevsky regiment were named active, and the 3rd - reserve. On February 16, 1831, the latter was expelled to form the Lublin Infantry Regiment , and a new one was formed in its place.
On January 28, 1833, the regiment was renamed Jaeger and, with the addition of the 31st Jaeger regiment, it was made up of 4 actual and 2 reserve battalions.
In 1834, the 6th reserve battalion was abolished, and in 1842 the 5th, and all battalions were aligned. On February 23, 1845, the 3rd battalion entered the staffing of the Lublin Jaeger Regiment, and a new one was formed in its place.
