The government of Radovan Vishkovich ( Serb. Vlad Radovan Vishkoviћa ) was formed on December 18, 2018. It became the sixteenth government of the Republika Srpska and replaced the Second Cabinet of Zeljki Tsviyanovich. Voting on the proposed candidates took place among the deputies of the tenth convocation of the People’s Assembly of the Republika Srpska . When voting in the People’s Assembly, 54 deputies supported the candidacy of Radovan Vishkovich for the post of head of government, nine voted against, and four abstained. 54 deputies voted for the composition of the cabinet proposed by Vishkovich, 13 deputies voted against, and two abstained [1] [2] [3] .

Before being elected head of the Government, Vishkovich was a deputy in the People's Assembly of the RS [4] . A number of ministers from the previous Government retained their posts: Dragan Lukacs (Ministry of Internal Affairs), Anton Kasipovich (Ministry of Justice), Leyla Resic (Ministry of Management and Local Government), Zlatan Klokic (Ministry of European Integration and International Cooperation), Nejo Trnicić (Ministry Communications and Transport), Srebrenka Golic (Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology), Petar Djokic (Ministry of Energy and Mining). Other ministries received new leaders [1] .
The Government of the Republika Srpska is the main executive body of the Republika Srpska - an integral part ( entity ) of Bosnia and Herzegovina . Its powers are established by the Constitution of the RS and a number of laws. In particular, it proposes laws for consideration by the People’s Assembly, proposes a plan for the development of the Republic and a draft budget, monitors the implementation and implementation of laws, organizes the activities of ministries, etc. In addition, it is the Government that decides on the establishment of representative offices of the RS in the world [5 ] .
The composition of the government is formed by the People’s Assembly taking into account national quotas: ministers should be 8 Serbs, 5 Bosnians and 3 Croats. The head of government and his two deputies must represent all three constitutional peoples of the republic [6] .
