In 2018, a conflict occurred between the Danish Football Union and the Danish Football Association. The parties were unable to sign a partnership agreement (the previous one ended on August 1), due to disagreements on the use of image rights of the national team players. As a result, the players announced a boycott of the federation and refused to enter a friendly match against the Slovak national team , they were supported by other professional football players who also refused to be called up to the national team [1] . On September 4, the Danish Football Union's website published a new roster of 24 players, which included Christian Offenberg [2] . The next day, Offenberg entered the field as the team captain and played the entire match. The meeting ended with a score of 0: 3 in favor of Slovakia.
