Klimovo is a village in the Bezhanitsky district of the Pskov region of Russia . It is part of the rural settlement Chikhachevskoye .

Geography

The village is located in the east of the central part of the Pskov region, within the Bezhanitskaya Upland , west of the railway line Dno-1 - Novosokolniki, at a distance of about 40 kilometers (in a straight line) north of the urban-type settlement Bezhanitsy , the administrative center of the region.

Climate

The climate is characterized as transitional between typically marine and continental with high humidity ^[2] .

History

Until 2015, the settlement was part of the now abolished Chikhachev volost .
