Biography

From the Ostsee German noble family . Lutheran . He graduated from the Alexander Lyceum in St. Petersburg [2] .

September 3, 1873, while studying at the Nikolaev Cavalry School , he entered the military service. In 1875 he passed the officer exam at the 2nd Military Konstantinovsky and Nikolaev Cavalry Schools and on October 29, 1875 was promoted to cornet . In 1877 he was promoted to lieutenant. Produced in the cornet guard of the Equestrian Life Guards Regiment .

He commanded a squadron of 3 m. From September 5, 1894 he was an adjutant to the commander of the troops of the guard and the St. Petersburg military district, Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich .

Since April 24, 1905 he was in the position of headquarters officer for special assignments of the V class at the Main Directorate of State Horse Breeding. On February 3, 1906 he was appointed acting general for special assignments under the Minister of the Interior .

Since June 10, 1906 he was retired.

On April 30, 1907, with the rank of Major General, he was assigned to the Main Directorate of State Horse Breeding and was appointed acting headquarters officer for special assignments of the VI class. From March 19, 1912, he was for assignments of the V class above the state, and from May 31, 1916 he was for special assignments of the IV class at the Main Directorate of State Horse Breeding .

In the 1920s he went to Latvia. He died on November 8, 1935 in Riga.
