Biography
Sergey Viktorovich Lomovsky was born in 1969 in Moscow. He graduated with honors from the Moscow State Conservatory in the class of prof. NG Beshkina and postgraduate studies of the CIM in the class of prof. S.I. Kravchenko. In the State Quartet named after A.P. Borodina has been playing since 2011 .
Awards and titles
Winner of the Grand Prix of the Chamber Ensemble Competition in Ancona (Italy) as part of the Moscow String Trio. He was awarded the badge of honor "For achievements in culture" of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
Concert Activity
He participated in chamber music festivals in Europe and neighboring countries where he performed with V. Tretyakov, Y. Bashmet, M. Brunello, S. Nakaryakov and other famous musicians. In 1992-2011 - concertmaster of the group of second violins of the Moscow Soloists Chamber Ensemble under the direction of Y. Bashmet. In the quartet named after Borodin, has been playing since 2011 .
