Russkaya Polyana is a station settlement (officially - station [2] ) in the Russo-Polyansky district of the Omsk region of Russia . It is part of the Russian-Polyansky urban settlement .

Physico-geographical characteristics
The village is located within the Ishim Plain , which is part of the West Siberian Plain . It adjoins the southern outskirts of the district center - the village of Russkaya Polyana . In the vicinity, linguistic southern chernozems are common [3] . The hydrographic network is not developed: the closest large body of water is Lake Zharyldykol, located about 15 km north of the village.
History
In accordance with the Law of the Omsk Region dated July 30, 2004 No. 548-OZ “On the Borders and Status of Municipalities of the Omsk Region” [4], the village became part of the Russian-Polyanskoye Urban Settlement municipal entity.

According to the 2002 census , Russians accounted for 70% of the total population of 251 in the national population structure. [10] .

The main social facilities are located in the village. Russian Glade.
Transport
At the village there was a railway line Kzyl-Tu - Irtysh West-Siberian Railway ( Russkaya Polyana station).
