Distribution
Found in China ( Hunan , Shuangpai County, Mt. Yangming) [1] [2] .
Description
Small spiders, body length about 3 mm (females from 2.77 to 2.85 mm; males from 2.51 to 2.80 mm). The main color is tan with gray and black marks. Chelicera with two setae on the front side. Formula of legs: 1423. Distribution of spines on legs: hips of males I – d0-pl3, II – d0-pl0, III – d0, IV-d1 (in females also, except II – d1-pl2); tibiae I – II with several pairs of ventral spines. Fingers of males with one simple apophysis of RTA (retro-lateral tibial apophysis), and the genitals of their females with a relatively long, highly sclerotized spermathecus. Ground spiders living in fallen leaves on a forest litter [2] [3] [4] [5] .
Taxonomy and Etymology
The species was first described in 2016 by a group of Chinese arachnologists (Jin C., Fu L., Yin XC, Zhang F .; Hebei University, Baoding , Hebei , China ) based on materials from China. Included in the species group longituba -group. The species name comes from the Latin word "curvatus" (curved) according to the structure of part of the palps of males [1] [2] .
