Jizbice ( Czech Jizbice) ( German Jisbitz) is a village in the Nachod region, today it is part of the city of Nachod in the Hradec Králové Region, located 3 km in the south-east direction of the city of Nachod.
History
The village of Jizbice appeared probably in the late 11th or early 12th century. The first mention was the charter on the purchase of the Nakhodsky estate with the surrounding villages of January 14, 1415. The village is located at an altitude of 550 meters.
The name of the village of Jizbice ( Czech Jizbice) arose due to the form of Jistbice, Isbice (jistba = světnice (lighthouse)).
From 1848, Jijbice was an independent village, for 137 years - until 1985, when there was a merger with the city, Nachod. In 1960, the municipality was connected with the municipalities of Lipi and Dobroshov, but 9 years later the municipalities were isolated.
