Description
Rybnitsa Lake is located 20 km east of the city of Grodno , near the agricultural town of Ozyory .
The surface area of the lake is 2.48 km². The length is 4.76 km, the greatest width is 0.9 km, the coastline is 12.4 km. The greatest depth is 7.7 m. The catchment area is 403 km².
The hollow of the lake is of the hollow type, the height of the slopes varies from 3-5 to 17 m. The western and north-western shores of the lake merge with the slopes of the hollow. The coastline is winding. The bottom near the coast is sandy, at a depth - lined with sapropel .
Rybnitsa Lake is flowing: the Pyranka River flows through it, the Stryivka River, streams and canals flow into it.
