Biography
In 1880, after graduating from the Voronezh Real School, he entered the volunteer service in the Mozhaysky 141st Infantry Regiment . In 1882, after graduating from the Chuguev Military School , he was promoted to second rank in the rank of ensign , in 1884 as second lieutenant , in 1888 as lieutenant , in 1899 he became headquarters captain , and in 1902 he became captain - the commander of the company of the Mozhaysky 141st Infantry Regiment.
Since 1904, a participant in the Russo-Japanese War as part of the Tarussky 287th Infantry Regiment . For military distinctions he was awarded a number of military orders and promoted to lieutenant colonel . The highest order of May 31, 1907 for courage was awarded the Golden Weapon “For Courage” :

In 1908, promoted to colonel - commander of the 4th Andijan Reserve Battalion. Since 1910, the head of the economic unit of the Odessa 48th Infantry Regiment . Since 1911, the commander of the 46th Dnieper Infantry Regiment . Since 1914, a participant in World War I, at the head of his regiment, was wounded. After the October Revolution, in 1918 he served in the White Army in the All -Russian Union of Liberal Democratic Forces — commander of the Odessa guard regiment of troops of the Novorossiysk region [3] .
