Magpies rocks - granite rocks on the left bank of the Bolshoi Reft River 8 km west of the city of Asbest in the Sverdlovsk Region , Russia . Rocks have a characteristic mattress-like shape, the length of the rocks is about 300 m, height up to 12 m [1] . A dirt road leads to the Sorokhiy rocks, about 6 km from the outskirts of the city of Asbest.

In 2001, by Decree of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region dated January 17, 2001 No. 41-PP Magpies were declared a geomorphological natural monument . The same legal act entrusted the protection of the property to the Sukholozhskoe lesnichestvo [2] . The area of a specially protected natural area is 1.5 hectares.
