History
In accordance with the Law of the Omsk Region dated July 30, 2004 No. 548-OZ “On the Borders and Status of Municipal Formations of the Omsk Region” [3], the aul became part of the formed municipal formation “Yekaterinoslav Rural Settlement”.
Geography
Shahat is located in the southwestern part of the Omsk Region, within the Ishim Plain , which is part of the West Siberian Plain , about 5 km in a straight line in the north-east direction from the village of Yekaterinoslavka . There are two reservoirs [4] .
The absolute height is 113 m above sea level [1] .

According to the 2010 All-Russian Population Census, in the gender structure of the population of 184 people, men are 94, women are 90 (51.1 and 48.9% respectively) [2]

According to the 2002 census , in the national structure of the population, Kazakhs made up 98% of the total population of 290 people. [5] .
