Tadahiko Ueda ( Japanese 上 田 忠彦 ; born August 3, 1947 ) is a Japanese footballer . He played for the national team of Japan.

Club career
After graduating from Hosei University in 1970, Ueda became a player. And in the first season he was included in the symbolic national team of the championship. But after that he spent only three years in the team and ended his career. During this time he spent 60 matches and scored 25 goals in the championship.
Career in the national team
On August 2, 1970, Ueda made his debut for the Japanese national team in a match against South Korea . In December, he was called up to the national team for the 1970 Asian Summer Games . He played in qualifying matches for the 1972 Summer Olympics . The meeting with Malaysia was his last game for Japan. In total, Ueda spent 13 games and scored 7 goals, completing performances in 1971 [2] .
On April 15, 2015, Ueda died of lung cancer at the age of 67.
