Geography
The village is located 11 km north-west of the center of the village of Vyshhorod and 17 km southeast of Ryazan .
History
Glebovo, along with other villages, was part of the Old Lgovsky parish. In 1695, a church was built in it and consecrated as the Mother of God. In addition to the village, the parish included the village of Yurasovo , in which there were 72 courtyards. In 1765, the church was rebuilt anew. In 1871, instead of a burnt wooden church, the construction of the stone church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary began, in which in 1880 the throne was consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas [2] .
In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Astroma volost of the Ryazan district of the Ryazan province , since 1925 - as part of the Vyshgorod volost . In 1905 [3] there were 177 yards in the village.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Glebovsky village council of the Ryazan district of the Ryazan district of the Moscow region , since 1937 - as part of the Ryazan region , since 2005 - as part of the Korablinsky rural settlement , since 2017 - as part of the Vyshgorod rural settlement .
