Geography

The village is located in the east of the central part of the Pskov region, within the Bezhanitsky Upland , on the left bank of the Uda River , at a distance of about 24 kilometers (in a straight line) north of the urban-type settlement Bezhanitsy , the administrative center of the region.

Climate

The climate is characterized as transitional between typically marine and continental with high humidity [2] .
