Career
Luis Guillorm was born on September 27, 1994 in Caracas. In addition to Venezuelan, he has Spanish citizenship. In 2007, their family moved to Davy in Florida . Louis graduated from high school in Coral Springs, played for the school baseball team as a second base player and shortstop . In 2013, in the tenth round of the draft, he was chosen by the New York Mets club. Guillorme refused his intention to go to college and signed a professional contract with the team [1] [2] .
Performances in the Mets system, Louis began in 2013 in the Gulf Coast League. He spent the 2014 season with Kingsport Mets and Savannah Sand Nuts . In sixty games for both clubs, Guillorme beat off with an indicator of 28.3%. In Savannah, he completely held the championship of 2015, following which he was recognized as the Most Valuable Player in the South Atlantic League. In one hundred seventeen games, his hit rate was 31.4%. Louis showed himself well in defense, and also stole seventeen bases [3] . Baseball America website named him the best infiltrator for playing defense in the New York Mets system [1] .
In March 2016, Guillorme as part of the Spanish national team took part in the matches of the qualification tournament of the World Baseball Classics [1] . He held the regular season with St. Louis Mets , beating off with an indicator of 26.3% and demonstrating a good ratio of walks to strikeouts (44/63). In September, Luis in the Spanish national team became the silver medalist of the European Championship and was recognized as the best defensive player of the tournament [4] [5] .
In the spring of 2017, Louis took part in the pre-season training camp for the Mets main team, but before the start of the regular season he was sent to the Binghamton Rumble Ponis AA League team. He played for the club in one hundred and twenty-eight matches, beating off with an indicator of 28.3%. The following year, Guillorme became one of the best Mets players at training camps, but the season began at Las Vegas Fifties-One . After twenty-eight games, he was the team leader in terms of base occupation [2] . In May 2018, Louis was recruited and made his debut in Major League Baseball [6] .
