Kushnir Izolda Mikhailovna

Kushnir Izolda Mikhailovna (maiden name Tyurenkova) was born on July 29, 1929 in the village of Nesterovo (Vladimir region) in the Yuryev-Polsky district of the Vladimir region in a family of employees. Father Tyurenkov Mikhail Andreevich (1905-1969). Mother Tyurenkova Serafima Mikhailovna (1910-1980). Brother - Tyurenkov Arkady Mikhailovich born in 1934. Sister - Kozlovskaya Lyudmila Mikhailovna born in 1937. Brother - Tyurenkov Yuri Mikhailovich (1928-2007). She moved to Novgorod with her family in 1944. And already at the age of 17, in 1946 she began her career on the Novgorod section of the Oktyabrskaya Railway. During this difficult period, Isolda Kushnir actively began to restore the city destroyed by the Nazis. In 1948, she married an architect, Ilya Iosifovich Kushnir . In 1949, son Michael was born. In 1955, the second son, Alexander, was born. Despite all the difficulties, Isolda Kushnir in 1972 graduated from the Leningrad Cultural and Educational School (now the Leningrad Regional College of Culture and Art ) with a degree in Club Worker, the head of the theater team.

As a cultural worker, Izolda Mikhailovna, began to work in the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity named after Leni Golikova in Novgorod in 1964, and already in 1967 headed the Kremlin Park (Veliky Novgorod) . Due to its enormous energy, various attractions were installed in an empty forest-park zone, a chess pavilion was built and the Sadko fountain was installed, which is still a decoration of the park. THEM. Kushnir in 1969 owns the initiative and organization of the first in Novgorod holiday "Seeing the Russian Winter", which exists to this day. For many years she was called "the main Novgorod Snow Maiden." With her optimism and fun, she infected people in difficult times. To this day, Isolda Mikhailovna is for many women of the city the standard of female elegance.

From 1974 to 1987, Isolda Mikhailovna headed the N.G. House of Culture. Vasilieva. Here, her great organizational and creative abilities were fully manifested. Largely thanks to her efforts, ensembles “ Sadko ” and “Guselka” achieved new creative successes. These groups spoke to the working people of the city, in the shops of factories, in schools and pioneer camps; in other cities of Russia and abroad, as well as central television. Their active participation in the cultural services of athletes and guests of the Olympics - " Summer Olympic Games 1980 " was awarded with USSR awards, including I. Kushnir. Amateur song and dance ensembles "Sadko" and "Guselka" were awarded the title "People". For active participation, promotion of folk art and high performing skills, the Sadko Folk Ensemble was awarded three times the Honorary title of “Laureate of the All-Union Amateur Festivals of Amateur Art”; winner of the All-Russian competition; winner of the Lenin Komsomol Prize. For many years, Isolda Mikhailovna worked at the Novgorod Regional Philharmonic. She did a great job introducing the pupils of kindergartens and schools of the city to a high musical culture. One of the legendary figures that Novgorod Land is so rich in is Isolda Kushnir. Izolda Mikhailovna spent almost 50 years of her life on the stage, restoring and enhancing the Novgorod cultural traditions.

Izolda Mikhailovna still leads an active lifestyle, participates in the public life of the city and region. In 2009, she took part in the All-Russian rally - " Student Construction Squads ", dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the movement, which took place in Moscow. She constantly holds creative meetings with students, schoolchildren, residents of the region, telling them about the post-war years of the restoration of Novgorod; about the history of the Novgorod region. THEM. Kushnir from 2002 to the present heads the Primary Veteran Organization of Cultural Workers of Veliky Novgorod. Without sparing herself, she visits veterans at home, organizes holidays, anniversaries and other events.

A lot of articles have been written about Isolde Kushnir. It is mentioned in various publications; in the book “ Novgorod in my fate” dedicated to the women of Veliky Novgorod, who have made a worthy contribution to the development of their beloved city.
