Biography
Nester Genivala was born on March 22, 1977.
She achieved the greatest success in her sports career in the 1996 season, when she joined the main team of the Solomon national team and thanks to a series of successful appearances she was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the Atlanta Summer Olympics . At the preliminary qualification stage of the 100-meter run, she showed time of 13.74 seconds, thereby setting her personal record in this discipline, but this result was not enough to pass to the next stage of the competition. Thus, Genivala became the first woman to perform at the Olympics from the Solomon Islands [2] .
After the Atlanta Olympics, Nester Genivala no longer showed any significant results in athletics in the international arena.
