Atelier Elie: The Alchemist of Salburg 2 ( エ リ ー の ア ト リ リ エ ～～ Is a direct sequel to Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg , and events occur after 6 years. Like its predecessor, the game was not released outside of Japan. Atelier Elie went along with many other games, for example, Atelier Marie , and as a result a whole series of third-party games was created. Atelier Marie and Atelier Elie walked together, released under the name Atelier Marie & Elie: The Alchemists of Salburg 1 ・ 2 on the Dreamcast , and on the PlayStation 2 it was released as Atelier Marie + Elie: The Alchemists of Salburg 1 + 2 . All versions are exclusive. Beginning in 2008, Atelier Marie and Atelier Elie are available on PlayStation Store for PlayStation Vita , PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3 . [5] [6]

Content
Story
Eli decides to follow in the footsteps of Marie after she rescued her. Hoping to become a great alchemist, she enters the same academy where Marie once studied.

- The protagonist. She is a punctual and reliable person, but in an agitated state can accidentally break something. Loves sweets like cheesecake and honey. [7]

- One of the royal knights of Salba. Despite his audacity, he takes his duty as a knight with all seriousness.

- Alchemist from a family of aristocrats. In love with Nordis Fouba, Eli's classmate. Her goal is to make a lot of money on alchemy.

- The daughter of a fisherman, loves the sea. Later joins Eli.

- A gifted student at the Zalburg Academy. He is very kind and does not like to hurt. But if someone learns better than him, he will become depressed.

- Romaju is a dancer from the southern lands. Her style and dark skin are similar to Mai Sextans, since she is also from the south. Dreams to live a happy family life.
Gameplay
In Atelier Elie, the player will have to improve Eli’s skills in four game years. Every year a competition will be held at the academy where the player will be able to increase his rank. Upon successful achievement of the “Meister” rank, Eli will additionally receive another two years, and new events and endings will become available to the player.
